Sea View Wash Away the Blues
Getting a study spot with a sea view can cost you heftily, or it can be free-of-charge. Today, we take a look at Library@Harbourfront, the newest public library in Singapore! As the biggest library within a mall in SG, it spans about half a football field and has a seating capacity of 460, separated into two zones: one for adults and the other for children.
The seating at the Newspaper Reading Area or Reading Lounge will reward you with a sweeping view of the sea (and Sentosa), though some might find the view a tad distracting. Those who can’t snag a seat at either location can instead head for the cosy Programme Zone – provided there aren’t ongoing activities. It houses about a hundred seats when not in use and makes for a suitable place to camp in when you wish to study in peace for upcoming exams or assessments!
Aside from the gorgeous view, the library is home to a large collection of books, so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to reading for leisure. Good luck securing your seats in this IG-worthy place! The trick is to arrive at the library as it opens.
